Brownies:
Ingredients:
1 C organic coconut oil
3 C coconut sugar
1 T vanilla
8 free range eggs
2 C Organic Grains Sprouted Wheat Flour
1 C organic dark cocoa powder
1/2 t baking powder
1 T sea salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2. Cream the coconut oil, coconut sugar, eggs and vanilla until light & airy
3. Add the flour, cocoa and salt; mix for 2 minutes
4. Pour batter into a lightly greased pan (at least 9 x 13 x 3 inches)
5. Bake 30-35 minutes (slightly under cooked is better than overcooked and dry)
4. Cool and cover with ganache if desired
Ganache:
Ingredients:
16 oz organic semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 C heavy cream (or coconut milk for a dairy-free option)
1 t orange zest
Instructions:
1. Boil cream with the orange zest
2. Place chocolate in a metal bowl and pour the hot cream mixture over the chocolate
3. Stir with a wire whisk until smooth
4. Pour over cooled brownies
5. Enjoy!
