Chamomile-Infused Multigrain Buttermilk Pancakes

This recipe puts a fun-and-easy spin on our Organic Multigrain Buttermilk Pancake mix. Plus, they couldn't be prettier to serve!


Ingredients:


Pancakes:


1 egg

1/2 C milk

1/4 C hot water, infused with chamomile tea


Orange & Maple Crème Fraîche Sauce:


1/4 C crème fraîche*

1 1/2 Tbsp freshly-squeezed orange juice

1 Tbsp Buttermilk Mountain Farms Organic Maple Syrup

orange & lemon zest, to taste


Instructions:


2. Boil 1/4 C of water, steep a chamomile tea bag in the water for 5 minutes

3. While the tea is steeping, mix together the crème fraîche, orange juice, maple syrup and citrus zest

4. Set aside

5. Add tea to the mixture and stir together until fully combined

6. Follow cooking directions on Organic Grains Multigrain Buttermilk Pancake Mix

7. Top warm pancakes with the orange & maple crème fraîche sauce, add dried lavender, fresh chamomile flowers or citrus zest as desired

8. Serve and enjoy!


*Can be subbed with Greek Yogurt
